Photo Collection Project Launch

We’re collecting local snapshots to continue preserving the incredible history of our parish – and we need your help.

Photographs are powerful windows into the past, capturing moments that would otherwise fade from memory. Each image has its own story to tell, whether it’s a candid family gathering, a proud community celebration, or a small glimpse of everyday life that brings our shared heritage into focus. By contributing these cherished pieces of the past, you’ll help us create a vivid tapestry of our parish’s development, from its earliest days to modern times. Whether you have a stash of old black-and-white prints tucked away in an attic trunk, a collection of albums brimming with color photos of local events, or a digital folder packed with shots of more recent milestones, every contribution counts.

Beyond keeping our history alive for future generations to discover, this effort also highlights the connections that have always bound us together- our roads and fields, our shops and schools, our dances and fairs, and most importantly, our friendships and families.

The images you share might spark fond memories in others, bridge generational gaps, or reveal unknown details that add new layers to our collective story. Your photographs can offer a glimpse into how our parish has evolved over time, underscoring both the changes that have shaped our landscape and the enduring spirit that continues to thrive here. By digging out those old albums or scrolling through your digital archives, you become part of a community-wide endeavor to celebrate our past. Let’s work side by side to compile a permanent record that illustrates who we are, where we’ve come from, and how each of our personal snapshots weaves into the larger narrative of our beloved parish.
